Saturday 14th October - the BIG day!

The morning of the big day... my brother's getting married this afternoon which can only mean one thing....

FOOD!!! Stu with a big plate of beans, egg, bacon and proper door step bread!

We found a very good cafe next to the Midcity Hotel and discovered that a Dukkah's breakfast whilst looking slightly flowery on the menu was in fact the best plate of morning food you could ask for! The homemade baked beans were heavenly! Please note this was NOT hangover food... we were all rather perky considering the Moo Brew Dark from the night before!

After breakfast Mum and I headed off for our make-overs! Meanwhile Stu had to transport his luggage to hotel No 3 - the hotel in which he'd spend his first night with his new wife Emma!

The rest of the afternoon was spent preening and getting ready...

Mum and from l-r Steve, Stu and Martin.. don't they look smart! Not sure why Mum felt she had to kneel!!?

'Have you given me the rings yet?'

Ministry of funny walks... best get it out of the system now!!

' Got money for DJ, got rings... best relax and plan my next whirlwind holiday... '

Steve and Adam share a joke about the comedy button holes....sorry lads no water squirters there I'm afraid!

Starting to look nervous...

Scrubbed up and ready to leave... Adam, Martin, Stu and Steve... Martin as you can see stands like a man who has never been part of a wall during a free kick! Brave!

We arrive at the vine yard and the sun is shining. There is the nervous pacing but Emma turns up pretty much on time and looks radiant... the bridesmaids look beautiful and the ceremony takes place without a hic-cup. Being part of the ceremony meant I wasn't able to take many pictures... but the words and sentiment were spot on so good for both Emma and Stu for writing what they wanted to hear and what obviously meant everything to each of them.

The new Mr and Mrs signing the register... smiles abound!

The happy couple - at this point the family get to congratulate the couple - when Stu waved at me to come up to them I was over come! Big hugs and much more make up on the shoulder of his suit - sorry bro...!

Faintly in the background is a rainbow - love for the pair all along it and always at the end of it.

Smiles and cheeky words no doubt! Super!

And now for the real fun... more champers, wine and food than you can shake a stick at! Let the party begin!!

But before then - spot the man who last weekend was hiding in a barrel... this weekend he is at it again!!! Go Colin!
